As from 25 March 2020, businesses will be able to apply for a 3 month extension for filing their accounts.
All companies that apply for an extension as a result of COVID-19 will automatically be granted the extension, without the need to provide evidence. An application will need to be made and COVID-19 or health matters should be cited as grounds for the application.
Please note, if the company has already extended the filing deadline or shortened the accounting reference period then the company may be ineligible for an extension.
