The coronavirus Job Retention Scheme portal is now live, and businesses can now submit their claims for furloughed workers.

HMRC has also launched an online calculator and useful step-by-step guide to help businesses make and check their calculations before making a claim.

You will need the Government Gateway User ID and password you got when you registered for PAYE online.
You should keep all records and calculations relating to your claim in case HMRC need to contact you about your claim.
Claims should be paid by BACS into your bank account within 6 working days.
