Moore (South) is pleased to announce that we are changing our core working hours. Earlier in the year, we surveyed our team to ask them their views on changing our business closing hours on a Friday from 3pm to 1pm. The results showed that over 85% supported the change of finishing at 1pm on a Friday.

We are committed to a business centered around our five locations with 40% hybrid home working options. We will always be available to our clients when they need us. A significant proportion of our clients are Owner Managed Businesses, and we understand the requirement to be available and flexible. Work-life balance is key to our highly valued team. In March 2008 we decided to close the office at 3pm on Fridays, progressing to finishing on Friday at 1pm will give our team more time to pursue their passions outside of the office."
What are the changes to our core hours?
Moore (South)'s working hours are being changed to allow the teams in all our offices to finish work at 1pm on Friday afternoons, subject to achieving their commitments to our clients.
Why are we changing our core hours?
We have adjusted our core hours to give our team members more personal time. This change will only impact our business hours on Fridays, while the rest of the week will remain unchanged. Our goal is to offer more time for our team to engage in activities they enjoy, such as sports, weekend trips, or spending time with loved ones. The Moore (South) team is devoted to efficiently delivering high-quality services to our clients. We can still maintain the excellent level of service while improving the work-life balance of our team.

We want to ensure our clients are informed about our new core hours, our commitment to providing excellent service remains unchanged, and we will continue to communicate with all clients effectively. Please note that if you have scheduled a meeting with a team member on Friday, these will still run as planned after.
