If you are currently using QuickBooks Desktop, then you have less than one month to make the switch to QuickBooks online or a different financial management software (FMS) solution, which will need to be in place before 1 July 2023, to avoid a lapse in service.
What do you need to do?
To switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online, you must migrate your existing historical accounting data before 30 June 2023, as this data will not be accessible to you via QuickBooks Desktop after that date. Alternatively, you must migrate your accounting data elsewhere or download it using the QuickBooks data export tool.
