Top marks for Tax Manager Matthew

Rachel Thomas

Tax Manager Matthew Grief, from the Moore Peterborough office, was announced as a winner in the STEP Worldwide Excellence Awards.

STEP, the global professional association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning, recognises students who have achieved the highest scores in their STEP exams.

Matt was the highest scoring student in England and Wales in the Advance Certificate in Taxation of Trusts and Estates.

Senior Partner Dickon Sandbach said: “I would like to offer my warmest congratulations – Matt has surpassed himself with these exam results. It’s great to see that all his hard work has paid off and been recognised by STEP.  The STEP exams are extremely challenging, and Matt studied extremely hard, alongside working full time.
At Moore, we encourage all staff to continue their training and personal development throughout their careers so they can continue to deliver an exceptional service to our clients."

Matt has developed his knowledge in family trusts and inheritance tax planning and this achievement can be seen as recognition of his expertise in this area.

As such, Matt is able to offer clients comprehensive advice on inheritance tax matters, trusts and estates and succession planning.
