Coronavirus; an update from Moore South

Sue Lucas

In view of the daily changing world resulting from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we would like to wish you well and update you on how we are attempting to minimise disruption to the services we provide.

In terms of our services, we have full contingency plans in place to ensure we can continue to offer the best service possible, even where social distancing and home working has become necessary. While we have taken the decision for almost all of our staff to work from home we will retain a skeleton staff in our offices while it is permitted. We are fully set up for remote working with the team having internet access to their office phone and ready for online or phone meetings; several of our team having worked in this way on a daily basis for some time.

In the short-term we will need to postpone face-to-face meetings however, we will be taking meetings and conference calls through Zoom Meetings, Skype and other means of communication. We plan to continue to operate as near to normal as possible, but in the event we do have to self-isolate we are fully prepared. Where this is the case the delivery of items by post will inevitably be affected.

This is of course a moving picture and we will continue to keep you updated, however the vast majority of our correspondence traffic is through electronic means therefore we believe any impact should be minimal. If we must self-isolate, we will still be responding to calls and emails as usual. Our five offices share common work practices and systems and consequently in the event of your regular contact being unavailable any queries can be redirected to another knowledgeable person with access to the same information.

We are confident that we can continue to provide an excellent service through this challenging situation. In order to be responsible to ourselves, our family, friends, clients and the public at large, we are keeping up to date with all the guidelines recommended by the government and WHO and making sure we follow the recommended regulations.

We send our best wishes to you and your circle of colleagues, friends and family.
